WE SOLD OUT.
Yesterday was an insane whirlwind of love from all corners of the internet and we’d be lying if we said we weren’t completely overwhelmed and overjoyed by how many people are picking the book up and digging what we’re doing here.
On that note, Dead Letters #1 officially sold out yesterday afternoon from Diamond, meaning whatever copies are in stores now are the only copies left to go around. So we’re going back to print with a brand new 2nd printing cover for #1, drawn by Artyom Trakhanov of Image’s new hit book UNDERTOW.
Order info should go up early next week, so if you missed out or you want to double dip with this beautiful new cover, we’ll have all that for you as soon as we get it.
Thanks seems like too small a word for what we’re feeling today, and that’s on you for picking us up and spreading the word and making DEAD LETTERS the little book that could.
Dead Letters #1 Sells Out, Goes To Second Print… WITH MY COVER! YEAH!

This is more of my work performed in indentured servitude to Simon Roy. I kid, I kid. I’ve been trying to work on my pen style. It’s actually been a while since I’ve hatched a hatch, and a few weeks since I worked on this mother. I like it better now, but I’m particular. I like to get in a groove where I’m feelin’ all the lines I’m putting down, just feelin’ that nib digging into the paper in just the right way. Anyways, here’s this.
This particular scene has had some adjustments, but I liked doodling on it in my own time, changing the progression and adding/taking away visual information.
The great people over at Studygroup Comics just launched a Kickstarter to publish two of my all time favourite cartoonists! Farel Dalrymple and Sam Alden! Check out all the amazing rewards and sweet sweet art that they are offering!
We here at WHERE THEY DRAW would love it if you could take a moment to spread the word about these amazing artists and if you felt like it support the project!!
WE JUST DID!
